Fuzzy pink and cream bathrobe and dark blue beret. I’m dressing warmer because I’m sleeping outside tonight .

Two of my favorite things to do

Definitely reading.

Playing “queen of the hill” with my favorite goat Jezabel. Lots of fun but a little risky…a couple days ago I almost got rammed in the stomach when I wasn’t paying proper attention to her. Ouch!

Two things you want very badly at the moment

My entire family to follow Jesus and for myself to be more diligent in developing what gifts God has given me.

Two pets you had/have

Let’s see…

Had: A beautiful black and white tomcat named Lightening who would often go on long ramblings, coming back covered with the fresh wounds and old scars from what I assume were his battles with other toms…and a green and gold parakeet named Emerald who was destined to live out his life in a cage…poor thing, I never took proper care of him.

Have: A fluffy grey flea-covered Smokey-cat who lives off the fat of the land (whenever I let him, that is) and an elegant reddish-hued Nubian who has the hardest head in the herd (goat equivalent to the chicken “rules the roost”).

Two things you did yesterday

Went blueberry picking and had some friends over.

Blueberries and fresh goats’ milk.

Two people you last talked to

My sister Anya (helped with the milking) and brother Peter (had a splinter in his foot).

Two things you’re doing tomorrow

Building a chicken coop and the regular household chores (milking, dishes, laundry, etc).

Two longest car rides

Probably the longest I’ve done is 5 hours up to Leavenworth, WA and 4.5 hours to Bend, OR.

Two favorite holidays

Resurrection Sunday and Thanksgiving.

Two favorite beverages

Goats’ milk and tea (almost any kind…right now I’m going through our Chamomile and Lemon Myrtle averaging 2-4 cups a day).
